NEW DELHI: It seems that Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is working on a new smartphone. A smartphone with codename PDAM10 has been spotted on a Chinese certification website. Apart from the codename the listing also reveals some go the specifications of the yet to launch Oppo smartphone. It is expected that this new smartphone will come under the A-series.
As per the listing on the certification website, the upcoming Oppo smartphone is said to sport a 5.6-inch display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to weigh 188 grams and backed by a 4,880 mAh battery.
The smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core processor and pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is also said to offer support for microSD card. The listing also suggests that the smartphone will come with dual SIM functionality and will also offer support for dual 4G VoLTE.
In terms of camera, the upcoming Oppo smartphone is expected to come with a quad-camera setup with 12MP main sensor, and 8MP, 2MP, and 2MP other modules. The smartphone is said to run Android 1o operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS.
Recently, Oppo expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of Oppo Enco M31 headphones. The newly launched audio device comes in two colour options - Black and Green and can be purchased from March 30 onwards. The company, however, has not revealed the price of the Oppo Enco M31.
The device features Bluetooth version 5.0 and LDAC for wireless connectivity. It is said to have a transmission speed of 990kpbs. Oppo Enco M31 comes with 9.2mm dynamic drivers with independent bass chambers and PET titanium composite diaphragms. Neck band of the headphone is made up of shape-memory metal with a layer of liquid silicone rubber on the top.
