Its time to try a new ROM . Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus smartphone already got 15+ official and Unofficial source build Roms . Each ROM has different type of features and performance. Earlier I shared ViperOS , I reviewed it , the first build of viperOS has some bugs but later updates of ViperOS got more buggy , But people are still using the first build .
Why don't try alternative of ViperOS . This time I am going to review Validus ROM which is build from source by Mayank Bali (Mayu) . This ROM is one of the three ROMs from Ground Zero Roms Team also known as GZR team .
I am using this ROM on Lenovo A6000 Plus with Beangapps and SuperSu . The ROM is pretty smooth on 2GB ram version thanks to hyper kernel which is now stock kernel of most A6000/+ ROMs . Earlier 1GB RAM users were complaining about some lagging . So to solve this problem the dev (mayu) has enabled CPU Boost in kernel . It will solve the problem of lagging . Since CPU boost is now enabled in kernel , you have to sacrifice some battery power which means if you want performance without lagging then it will affect (decresase) your battery usage such as screen on timing and overall battery use . So its upto user what he want .
Customization wise Validus ROM have various options . Button mapping, navbar , 4 types of recent styles - AOSP , Grid, Slim Recents and OmniSwitch .
It has two inbuilt dark themes - Validus and Go Retro .
Both are pure dark black themes with different accent color. It also supports substratum. Default launcher is Nova Launcher and for kernel management it has GZR Kernel manager . You can see more customization options in screenshots.

How To Flash
1. Download The ROM/Gapps/Magisk in internal storage or External SD card as you like.
2. Reboot to Recovery. Flash TWRP 3.1.1 (Hyper) for better support . Download
3. Make a backup of Current ROM (optional but recommended).
4. Wipe Data/Cache/System/Dalvik Cache.
5. Click Install and Select the ROM you downloaded and Slide the bottom bar to start flashing.
6. Flash Gapps.
7. Flash Magisk Zip
9. Reboot.
9. Well now you can enjoy your new ROM .
