It'd be nice if they had a feature that detected the orientation relative to your face too so that when you lie down it doesn't auto rotate when you're reading something.

Used to shuffle between ROG 2 and S10.
Currently sporting Mi 10 ultra most of the time. S10 for the swimming pool and other water based activities.

Anonymous, 9 hours agoLol, almost all Xiaomi phones models who received Android 11 have problems with it. Just go on... moreas someone who juggles 3 phones, the asus rog phone 3, a xaiomi mi 10 ultra and a pixel 4a at the moment. i can vouch for xiaomi's software.
it's not as clean as stock android but it also doesn't pretend to be, it's a work of art and a genuine joy to use.
(if you're wondering why i use 3 phones, the pixel 4a is small so when im cycling, it fits better in my pocket, and the rog phone 3 has trigger buttons)

Wily2021, 16 hours agoThis thing has to be a joke, it looks hideous. When Google hire some graphics designers?Same old hideous notch, same old hideous grid of icons on the homescreen... looks extremely inelegant and low class. Even Apple themselves are highly ashamed of that notch.
That's why they keep showing pictures of their iphones with wallpapers that black out the top of the screen to hide the ugly putrid notch that makes the phone's bezel look grossly asymmetrical. Such incompetent amateurs!

Welcome back, Samsung Smart Rotation! Well, even if Google's implementation is a copy of that feature (which worked very well but was taken down because of all these tech news sites complaining about their software being bloated), it is good to see it making a return.
