The University of Essex announced a new app from its researchers that aims to bring a boost for batteries to help and solve problems regarding their charge and usage. The new app is called "EOptimizer," and it aims to save battery power using artificial intelligence, focusing on bringing more power for its use on different needs.
The app's goal is to save battery power and avoid frequent charging of the smartphone to help save energy and reduce carbon emissions generated by this draw on electricity. Less charge also means it will help protect battery health which sees a reduction every time a person plugs it in or charges it via wireless connections.

Save Battery Power by as Much as 30 Percent with this App
It aims to make the smartphones last longer than what the public previously expected on a full charge, with as much as a 30 percent boost to its optimization for the device. According to SciTechDaily, the researchers aim to bring this technology to known manufacturing companies, including Nokia and Huawei, also available to others.
Dr. Amit Singh, from Essex's School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, spearheaded its development with former Samsung, Microsoft, and HCL Technologies employees.
AI Apps for Different Use and Features
Artificial intelligence brings many significant applications for all, and it presents different ways for the public to experience technology's latest developments for all. One of the many examples of AI's application for apps is its use in the US Air Force to train fighter pilots in eliminating and going up against threats in simulations using AR headsets.
The world already sees massive use for AI in different applications, including its use to navigate through hurricanes for drones, as researchers developed before.
AI is known for its deep learning capabilities that solve real-world problems, with researchers working hard for its development and application for public use.
That being said, while there are many complex studies and developments that the world already uses for AI, researchers are not disregarding its application for the everyday gadget people are most familiar with which is the smartphone.
Still, it solves a massive problem for the modern-day gadget that sometimes sees a drastic drop in power, despite not using it, focusing on battery optimization for all needs.
